Last updated: August 14, 2026
Thank you for shopping with RTA Cabinets House. This 5-Year Limited Warranty explains the warranty coverage, exclusions, limitations, claim requirements, and available resolutions for cabinet products purchased directly from RTA Cabinets House.
Warranty Coverage
All cabinet products purchased directly from RTA Cabinets House are covered by our 5-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use, subject to the terms, exclusions, and limitations described in this warranty.
If RTA Cabinets House determines that a cabinet product has a defect in materials or workmanship covered by this warranty, we will provide an appropriate warranty resolution as described in the Warranty Resolution section below.
Who Is Covered
This warranty applies to the original purchaser of cabinet products purchased directly from RTA Cabinets House. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
This warranty is not transferable to subsequent owners or purchasers.
Warranty Period
The warranty period begins on the original delivery date and continues for 5 years, subject to the terms, exclusions, and limitations described in this warranty.
Warranty claims must be submitted within the applicable 5-year warranty period.
Products Covered
This 5-year limited warranty applies to all cabinet products purchased directly from RTA Cabinets House.
This warranty applies to cabinet products only. Non-cabinet products are not covered by this warranty unless warranty coverage is specifically stated for that product.
What This Warranty Covers
This limited warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship that occur under normal residential use when the cabinet products have been properly stored, handled, assembled, installed, used, and maintained.
Coverage applies to defects affecting cabinet parts or components when RTA Cabinets House determines that the issue resulted from a defect in materials or workmanship rather than damage, misuse, environmental conditions, improper installation, alteration, or another excluded cause.
What This Warranty Does Not Cover
This limited warranty does not cover damage, deterioration, or other issues caused by or resulting from:
- Improper assembly or installation
- Improper storage, handling, or maintenance
- Misuse, abuse, negligence, accidents, or use outside normal residential conditions
- Water damage, moisture exposure, leaks, or flooding
- Excessive humidity, extreme heat or cold, prolonged sunlight exposure, smoke, or other abnormal environmental conditions
- Job-site damage or damage occurring during construction, remodeling, or installation
- Damage caused by cutting, drilling, painting, refinishing, modification, or other alteration of the product
- Normal wear and tear
- Natural variations in wood grain, texture, color, or appearance
- Color or finish changes caused by age, lighting, sunlight, cleaning products, or normal household conditions
- Damage caused by improper cleaning methods, abrasive materials, or harsh chemicals
- Damage occurring during unauthorized return shipping or transportation
- Damage caused by improper removal, relocation, or reinstallation
- Products purchased from a seller or source other than RTA Cabinets House
Natural Variation and Color Differences
Wood, painted finishes, stained finishes, and other cabinet materials may naturally vary in grain, texture, color, tone, and appearance. These natural variations are not considered defects in materials or workmanship.
Product colors and finishes may also appear different depending on lighting, surrounding materials, screen settings, age, and production batches. Reasonable variations in color, finish, grain, or appearance are not considered manufacturing defects.
Inspection Before Assembly or Installation
Customers should inspect cabinet products before assembly, modification, or installation. If you notice a possible defect, please contact RTA Cabinets House before cutting, drilling, painting, modifying, or installing the affected product whenever reasonably possible.
Important: Normal assembly or installation does not by itself void this warranty. However, damage caused by improper assembly, improper installation, modification, cutting, drilling, painting, refinishing, or other alteration is not covered. If an alteration prevents RTA Cabinets House from reasonably determining whether a reported issue resulted from an original defect in materials or workmanship, warranty coverage for that specific issue may be denied.
Installation and Job-Site Conditions
Cabinet products must be properly stored, handled, assembled, and installed. Before installation, products should be kept in a clean, dry, climate-appropriate indoor environment and protected from moisture, excessive humidity, extreme temperatures, construction debris, and other conditions that may cause damage.
Damage caused by job-site conditions, improper storage, improper handling, improper assembly or installation, moisture exposure, or product alteration is not covered by this warranty.
Warranty Claim Requirements
To request warranty assistance, please contact us at info@rtacabinetshouse.com and provide the information reasonably necessary for us to evaluate the claim.
Please include:

- Photos showing the full product or affected area
- A brief description of the issue
- Delivery date or approximate date received
- Assembly or installation status, if applicable

Claim Review Process
After receiving a warranty claim, RTA Cabinets House will review the information provided to determine whether the reported issue is covered by this warranty. We may request additional photos, documentation, measurements, order information, or other product details reasonably necessary to evaluate the claim.
Submission of a warranty claim does not mean that the claim has been approved. Claims are reviewed based on the terms of this warranty, proof of purchase, the condition of the product, the nature and cause of the reported issue, and the supporting information provided.
Warranty Resolution
If a warranty claim is approved, RTA Cabinets House will determine the appropriate resolution based on the nature of the covered defect. The resolution may include replacement parts, replacement components, repair support, store credit, or another comparable remedy.
The appropriate resolution will be determined by RTA Cabinets House based on the affected product, availability of replacement parts or components, the nature of the defect, and the circumstances of the claim.
Replacement parts or components may vary slightly in color, finish, grain, texture, or appearance from the original product. This warranty does not guarantee an exact color or finish match, particularly when replacement parts are produced at a different time or from a different production batch.
Costs Not Covered
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, this limited warranty does not cover:
- Labor costs
- Installation costs
- Removal costs
- Reinstallation costs
- Project delays
- Loss of use
- Incidental or consequential damages
- Costs associated with countertops, flooring, plumbing, electrical work, appliances, fixtures, construction materials, or other products or services
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so some of the limitations above may not apply to you.
Shipping Damage and Missing Items
Shipping damage, missing items, and other delivery-related issues are handled under our Shipping Policy and shipping claim process rather than the standard warranty claim process.
Please report shipping damage or missing items according to the reporting requirements and timelines stated in our Shipping Policy.
State Law Rights
This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
