Details That Made It Work

An Open Layout That Still Works Hard

The goal was to keep the kitchen visually open without giving up useful storage. Most of the cabinetry stays along the main wall, while the island creates a second work zone in the center of the room.

With the range, refrigerator, sink, and prep space positioned close together, everyday cooking feels more natural. The wide walkway around the island also keeps the kitchen connected to the adjoining living area.

Why Classic White Shaker

Classic White Shaker was chosen to keep the long cabinet runs feeling light and balanced. The simple recessed-panel doors add definition without making the room feel busy.

The bright white finish works naturally with the warm wood flooring, stainless steel appliances, light countertops, and black pendant lights. Using the same Shaker style across wall, base, island, and tall cabinets also gives the entire kitchen a consistent look.

Storage Where It Matters

The cabinet layout was planned around how the kitchen is actually used. Base cabinets keep everyday cookware close to the range, while the island adds storage directly beside the main prep area.

Tall cabinetry next to the refrigerator makes use of vertical space for pantry and less frequently used items. Together, these RTA cabinet choices create more functional storage without filling every wall with cabinets.

The finished kitchen feels simple and open, but every cabinet has a purpose.
